Ever Yoga is a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Registered School. Upon completion of the program, trainees will receive a certificate enabling them to register with Yoga Alliance as 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teachers.

Our 200 Hour Teacher Training program provides a safe and nurturing environment for trainees to experience and integrate an in-depth knowledge of the many facets of yoga. The Ever Yoga style embraces a mindful practice, as the breath guides students through creative sequences and accentuates intelligent postural alignment. Trainees are invited into an understanding of yoga physically, emotionally and intellectually. Whether teaching privately or in a group setting, a gentle or more challenging practice, trainees will develop the tools and confidence needed to think on their feet and create a meaningful practice for both themselves and others.

Trainees will learn:
- Asana - Embark on an in-depth study of alignment principles, benefits and potential risks/contraindications. Learn how to recognize when modifications, props and adjustments will best support your students/yourself and how to utilize them intelligently.
- Anatomy - Inform your understanding of asana through a study of anatomy and how the body works.
- Sequencing - Learn how to sequence a practice that is as intelligent and safe as it is creative and dynamic.
- Pranayama - Study and practice breathing techniques as an integral part of an asana practice, or as a practice of its own. Understand their benefits and potential risks/contraindications.
- Dharana and Dhyana - Learn and experience various concentration and meditation techniques, their benefits, and any potential risks/contraindications.
- Effective Teaching Skills - Through discussion and practice, cultivate a voice and style that will resonate with both you and your students.
- Sanskrit - Learn the sanskrit names of postures and breathing techniques, popular chants, and terms found commonly in yogic texts.
- Yoga History and Philosophy - Discover the roots of yoga and how it became what it is today. Explore Patanjali's Yoga Sutras.
- The Business of Yoga - Understand the terrain and learn how to carve a path all your own.
